20th July: eTrading now live at first NHS Health Board

Jane Hutt, Minister for Business & Budget, announced at today's Efficiency & Innovation Board that Cardiff & Vale University Health Board has now gone live with xchangewales eTrading, having completed a successful pilot. Mrs Hutt noted: " NHS Wales recognises the need, more than ever, for 'technology to take the strain' in delivering greater efficiencies and innovation through collaboration, best practice and more national sourcing of goods and services across the Public Sector in Wales." 1st July: eTrading supports efficiencies at Swansea
