Have there already been any benefits from the use of xchangewales?

In the first four months the xchangewales programme has already delivered £4.7m. That equates to nearly £1m per month of benefits being delivered for redirection at the local level to front line services.

In addition :

Over 200 Welsh public sector organisations are registered on buy4wales, with 104 regularly advertising their contracts through the site.
32,000 suppliers are registered on sell2wales, two thirds of which are Welsh based SME’s.
To date £6bn worth of contract opportunities have been placed on the site.
81 organisations are using the xchangewales purchasing card, spending on average £2.6m per month with the 3,600 cards issued.
