20th July: Minister for Business and Budget announces Cardiff & Vale University Health Board live on eTrading

Jane Hutt noted: "I am pleased to report that the National Health Service has taken the pioneering decision to roll out the xchangewales e-Trading electronic procurement function across the service in Wales. Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is leading the way with their e-Trading system going live just last week. Using xchangewales will generate significant savings for the NHS." 1st July: City & Council of Swansea implements eTrading

The City & Council of Swansea are the latest council to begin trading on the xchangewales eTrading network, taking advantage of the benefits available through collaborative procurement, process efficiencies, financial savings and sustainability. To read the full press release click here

20th June: xchangewales shortlisted for CIPS Awards

xchangewales has been shortlisted in this years CIPS Awards in the category of Best Public Procurement Initiative. There is tough competition in this years awards and we'll be up against entries from Surrey and Southampton Councils as well as the North West Collaborative Commercial Agency and two entries from the NHS. Wish us luck - the winners are announced in September

5th May: xchangewales is shortlisted for GO Award

xchangewales was delighted to have been shortlisted as finalist in this year's GO (Government Opportunities) Awards in the category of Collaborative Procurement Initiative of the Year. Unfortunately, we were pipped to the post by the NHS re:source Collaborative Procurement Hub project - so well done to them!

21st April: xchangewales wins prestigious GC Award

xchangewales were thrilled to receive a GC (Government Computing) Award in the category of 'Delivering Efficiencies'. The GC Awards recognise excellence in Public Sector I.T. The 'Delivering Efficiencies' category celebrates the achievements of those projects that demonstrate clear efficiency gains - particularly sustainable efficiencies - for their organisations
