European SME Week

27 Apr 2009

The first European SME Week takes place between 6th - 14th May, aiming to promote entrepreneurship across Europe and informing entrepreneurs about support available at a European, national and local level.

Events will be taking place to inform and support entrepreneurs, and help them develop new ideas.

The European SME Week is co-ordinated by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Enterprise & Industry, but most of the events are organised by business support organisations and local authorities.

WALES SEMINARS

As part of the campaign, the Welsh Assembly Government and the Federation for Small Businesses (FSB) are hosting two free Business Breakfast seminars.

  • 6th May 09 - Millennium Stadium, Cardiff
  • 14th May 09 - OpTIC Technium, St Asaph

The events will include a presentation on Financing Your Business, along with opportunities to meet experts from business support organisations and network with other businesses.
