xchangewales - eTrading consists of three key components:


1. The Hub, which enables end users to search and view online catalogues and transact electronically with suppliers, including sending ePurchase Orders and receiving eInvoices


2. An optional Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) tool which enables users to raise and approve Purchase Orders, receipt goods/ services and process invoices electronically; and


3. A Management Information tool through which an organisation can review and analyse their Hub transactions


Features

Hub – for Buyers

  • View & search online catalogues of products and services
  • View & search supplier’s external eCommerce websites
  • Send Purchase orders & receive Invoices electronically (plus other types of documents)
  • Manage users and control which catalogues they can access; and
  • Review / approve catalogue amendments made by suppliers

Hub – for Suppliers

  • Upload & maintain online Catalogues
  • Establish ‘punch-out’ links to existing eCommerce websites
  • Receive orders and create / send invoices electronically (plus other types of documents); and
  • Integrate with back-office systems (if required)

Purchase-To-Pay (for Buyers only)

  • Creation and approval of requisitions and purchase orders via a configurable workflow
  • Goods receipting & matching
  • Processing & payment of invoices

To access the Hub you must use a Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) tool. This can either be through integrating the Hub with your existing eProcurement system or, by implementing the P2P tool offered through xchangewales.
